And the Best Partnership Award 2021 goes to…

Together with over 200 spectators, we launched 9 impact cases at our Future Thinking Event, the final event of The Partnership Verkiezing. The last 8 months 45 young professionals dedicated themselves to create social or ecological impact partnerships and to create a micro-revolution within their company and beyond.

This years’ winner of our Best New Partnership Award chosen by our curated jury is 🥁… Achmea’s Heath Heroes with ‘BrushHour‘! They created an accessible and inclusive oral health system for children to diminish socio-economic inequality.

The Future Makers award handed out by a special group of young leaders goes to PwC, who will stimulate empathy of individual employees by Virtual Reality. The audience award goes to team de Volksbank Volksheroes with their incentive package for sustainable housing for new mortgage customers.

A huge shout out to all the other participating teams: ABN Amro, Achmea States of Mind, Ahold Delhaize, KPN, Philips and Rabobank x Zilveren Kruis!

We are so proud of everyone raising their voice and putting their ideals into action.

The participants of De Partnership Verkiezing 2020-2021

Social and sustainability issues are now more important than ever. The urgency and importance to make a difference grows every day.

The Partnerschip Verkiezing is an initiative of The Punchy Pack, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Rotterdam School of Management and with this programme we activate the voices of young leaders everywhere to become a part of the solution.

These heroes have taken on the challenge to develop a social and sustainable business case for their organisation, proving that it is possible to create positive impact with a business perspective from within a corporate organisation. They have done this working together with their executives and colleagues, with experts, artists, entrepreneurs, NGOs, government and fellow wavemakers, because they stand for a better future.

FMO – Finance for Jobs

Team FMO – Finance for Jobs:
Sabine Prinz, Tianhan Ji, Toghrul Khalilli, Alberto Moral Rustarazo

We are FMO ‘Finance for Jobs’ Team and are passionate about reducing inequalities, in particular supporting youth at risk. Research shows that there is 39% of young Palestinians unemployed. Together with World Bank, Social Finance and other institutional investors, we will contribute to decreasing the current skills mismatch in Gaza and West Bank by an innovative finance solution (Development Impact Bond). The project will support 400 unemployed young Palestinians to move into sustainable paid employment in specific private sectors.

FMO – Access to Finance for Smallholder farmers – Creating Your Own Credit Score

Team FMO:
Corianne van Veen, Lonneke Notenboom, Claire Nyambori, Michelle Munteanu

Smallholder farmers in Kenya often face difficulties obtaining a loan to support their businesses because they lack the credit history and collateral necessary to gain the trust of financial institutions. We seek to bridge this credit gap by creating an alternative credit score. This is based on data collected through participation in online financial and entrepreneurial training and additional personal and farming data. This ‘new’ credit score will lead to better-informed lending decisions for smallholders farmers.
