The Dutch housing market is fully overheated. Our research has shown that in this failing market, the housing needs of people in 3rd phase of life (55+) are especially ignored. In their view, there are no or only few houses that match their future preferences and needs: It should be lifecycle proof.
Achmea Houselutions presents a real estate agent who is committed to the specific needs of Dutch people in the 3rd phase of life who own a family home. Our real estate agency assists them in expressing their future preferences of living, their search for a future life cycle-proof home and the sale of their current house. We take on a wide-ranging social role, offering a personal full-service.

Entrepreneurship should be accessible for everyone. Research shows that just 0,8% of the total amount invested in Dutch start-ups goes to all-female founded ventures. We want to change this. Subjective indicators, play a key role in the final investment decision. This leads to a gender bias. The huge potential of female entrepreneurs becomes undervalued and unexplored. Our Women Entreprises Matter (WEM) is a digital matchmaking environment. It facilitates the transaction between the investor and female entrepreneur. The entrepreneurs are being verified by Centraal Beheer, which brings transparency in the risk profile and expected returns of the investment.

We will launch a circular business model for Philips Avalon Philips monitors. Instead of having those monitors in the USA going to landfill, we give them a second life by refurbishing them and offering them through a pay-per-scan model to rural health care providers. Currently, most rural health care providers cannot afford the initial investment of such monitors, causing the habitants to lack access to maternity health care. As a consequence, areas in the USA experience the highest infant mortality rate among the developed markets. The pay-per-scan model takes away the issue of making the initial investment, resulting in saving infant lives.

We can purchase various fruits and vegetables all year round whilst all plants and produce actually have a season. This comes with a huge negative ecological impact on the environment. We launch a shop-in-shop model at PwC. How? By selling ‘verspakketten’ with in-season fruit and vegetables.
Choosing only in-season fruits and vegetables can reduce the ecological impact of food consumption by about 70%. We aim towards a yearly CO2 reduction of 300 tons from 2027 onwards.

In the Dutch overheated housing market, there is an urgent need for resale properties among first-time buyers. Meanwhile, municipalities often have unused temporary plots of land available on which extra houses can be built. A modular house offers the solution: it can be built sustainably, quickly, it is moveable and easily adaptable to ones needs. Moreover these houses are affordable (varying from 100K to 165K), making the monthly expenses lower than renting or regular resale properties. The houses store CO2. However, suitable financial products are lacking to realize this type of housing. With our product, we will make the purchasing of modular houses more accessible by providing a financial solution. In collaboration with our partners, we will start on temporary ground in Eindhoven with 10-15 modular houses.
